My name is Michael Conti. I'm a photojournalist living in San Francisco, working with photographs and video. I love finding the small, hidden details, the subtle emotions, and bringing them together to tell a larger story.

I am the Digital Production Manager at Define American, a media non-profit dedicated to telling stories about immigrants, identity, and citizenship. I'm thankful to work with an inspiring team, who I work with to document our changing American identity. You can see our work at defineamerican.com.

My clients include 10 state departments of agriculture, the East Mississippi Business Development Corp., the Tyler Texas Chamber of Commerce, Farm Bureau, and The Opus Prize Foundation. I have been published by news organizations which include the Houma Courier, Bay Area News Group, USA Today, and NBC News Pictures.

Recognized by the Louisiana/Mississippi Associated Press Managing Editors, the National Press Photographers Association, College Photographer of the Year, Associated Collegiate Press, and the American Society of Media Photographers' Young Photographer's Alliance.
