My name is Michael Conti. Most people call me by my last name. I'm currently a staff photographer at The Courier of Houma, Louisiana, which is one hour away from New Orleans. I also accept freelance editorial assignments.
A photograph is a moment, often recording less than a second of time. The time spent afterwards on that same photograph could be just as small.
As a photographer, I want each moment I render to be readable, to be meaningful when held up against the context of human life. Hopefully, through my work, you will feel a little bit of what I've felt, where I've been, and who I've met.
